The Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery Program presently consists of 34 members who provide comprehensive services for a wide geographic area including Northern Alberta and neighboring provinces. The program utilizes the most current equipment and technology including image guided surgery, laser surgery, robotic surgery, and intraoperative MRI.

The successful candidate will have a special continuing (academic) faculty appointment in the Faculty of Medicine and Dentistry at an appropriate rank. This position will consist of 35% research, 25% clinical service, 25% non-classroom teaching, 10% classroom based teaching, and 5% administration. Contributions to education at the undergraduate, graduate, and specialty levels are expected from all faculty surgeons. The successful candidate will contribute to broadening the research base in the area of Rhinology. The clinical duties will involve support for the Rhinology/Skull Base program in the Edmonton Zone, and participation in the Zone’s on-call rotation.
Candidates must hold the FRCSC designation in Otolaryngology Head & Neck Surgery or an equivalent and be eligible for licensure in the province of Alberta. The candidate should have fellowship training in Rhinology/Endoscopic Skull Base Surgery, as well as appropriate research training and experience at the MSc or preferably PhD level.Recruiter Contact:
