Responsibilities/Duties:

The permanent full-time position takes direction from, and reports to the Clinical Section Chief, Anatomic Pathology/Cytopathology, who in turn reports to the Vice President Medical Operations (CLS) and Zone Clinical Department Head (AHS). Anatomic Pathologists must maintain the highest possible standards of practice including prompt delivery of services to match established performance indicators and turn-around times, must actively participate in quality assurance, quality control and quality improvement programs, must provide on-call services as required and must actively participate in teaching.

Qualifications:

Qualifications include a MD, eligibility for licensure in the Province of Alberta, and certification in Anatomic Pathology or General Pathology by the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada or Anatomic Pathology or Anatomic Pathology/Clinical Pathology by the American Board of Pathology as well as subspecialty Fellowship training in Breast Pathology.

Compensation:

$350,197.00 to $407,373.00.
