I am delighted to inform you that we currently have an opening for a Critical Care, Assistant Consultant  to join King Fahad Specialist Hospital Dammam (KFSH-D) a premier tertiary referral hospital. They are committed to serve the healthcare needs of the eastern province in Saudi Arabia with the following core competency programs: Oncology, Transplant, Neurosciences, and Genetics.

  • Participates in patient care as well as in training of fellows and residents.




  • Graduate from a medical school with certification in appropriate specialty acceptable to KFSH-D and the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties (i.e. Saudi Board, Jordanian Board, Egyptian Medical Doctor “MD”, Membership of the Royal Colleges of Physicians “MRCP”, Fellowship of the Royal College of Surgeons “FRCS”, or other non-western board certification recognized by the SCFHS).

Work Experience:


  • Four years' specialty training and clinical experience, non-subspecialty.
  • One year subspecialty training and experience, for subspecialty


  • Previous experience working in a tertiary care hospital.

Essential Functions:

  • Assists in providing high quality patient care under the supervision of the senior medical staff.
  • Participates in the on-call coverage as determined by the department.
  • Participates in departmental meetings and activities.
  • Participates in educational and research activities.
  • Conducts daily ward rounds.
  • Performs any other duties as may be requested.
  • Follows all Hospital related policies and procedures.
