About your opportunity
The Registered Nurse (RN) - Secure Mental Health Rehabilitation Unit (SMHRU) provides direct nursing care utilising clinical skills, education and support, encompassing purposeful evidenced based practice interventions to patients and clients, recognising safety of all. The RN will demonstrate an understanding of different populations having differing needs, and consideration must be given to how best meet these unique and diverse needs within a SMHRU, focusing on recovery offering opportunities to maximise each individual's personal journey in an environment that is accessible, flexible and responsive instilling hope, healing and empowerment for all.

Generous pro rata remuneration package value up to $8,436 p.m. comprising salary range of $2643.90 to $3391.20 p.f. (Nurse Grade 5), 17.5% leave loading, 12.75 % employer contribution to superannuation. This is a temporary part-time position commencing asap up to 07/07/2019.
