Key Responsibilities:

  • Actively involve consumers, carers and families in all stages of their care, in line with the Australian College of Mental Health Nurses Scope of Practice (2013) and Practice Standards (2010).  

  • Assume responsibility and accountability for own actions and the delegation and supervision of care to Registered Nurses (RN), Enrolled Nurses (EN) and Assistants in Nursing (AIN).

  • Contribute to positive consumer outcomes by role modelling person centred care in the assessment, planning and evaluating of nursing care in collaboration with the consumer and/or their family/carer and the health care team.

Remuneration value up to $109 944 p.a., comprising salary between $89 990 - $96 316 p.a. (f/t), or salary rates:  $45.39 - $48.60 p.h. (p/t), employer contribution to superannuation (up to 12.75%) and annual leave loading (17.5%) (Nurse Grade 6(1)) (full time and/or part time positions available).
