About University Hospital Southampton NHS Foundation Trust

We’ve worked hard as a Trust to improve the efficiency of our services and as a result, we are currently in financial surplus. We are one of England's largest acute teaching trusts and have recently been rated ‘Good’ by the CQC. In the latest national NHS Staff Survey we ranked seventh in the country for staff engagement and fourth best nationally for our proportion of staff saying that they would recommend the hospital as a place to work or to receive care.

Staff benefits

Staff can access discounts for local facilities such as local gyms and national discounts on everything from holidays to electricals. We have two nurseries that staff can use, one based on the Southampton General Hospital site (for UHS employees only) and one at the Western Community Hospital site (rated outstanding by Ofsted). Our modern, purpose-built nurseries provide regular childcare to children aged three months to school and have extended opening hours to help fit in with your schedule.

About Southampton
