Assistant Professor - Pediatric iHOPE

The University of Alberta, Faculty of Medicine & Dentistry, in partnership with Alberta Health Services (AHS) invites applicants to apply for a contingent tenure track position of Assistant Professor within the Division of Pediatric Immunology, Hematology, Oncology, Palliative Care and Environmental Health (iHOPE) in the Department of Pediatrics.
The successful applicant will join the pediatric Immunology, Hematology, Oncology, Palliative Care and Environmental Health (iHOPE) division providing a full spectrum of clinical Immunology services. In addition to clinical care, the division is active in teaching at the undergraduate and postgraduate levels. We have an active basic and clinical science program, collaborating locally, nationally and internationally.
This position will be comprised of approximately 60% clinical service (and clinical teaching) and 40% academic pursuits: either, teaching and research. Research can be in any area within Pediatric Immunology and/or Infectious Disease. Contributions to education at the undergraduate and postgraduate levels are expected from all faculty.Additional Notes About Edmonton

Interested applicants must hold an MD and must have completed a residency in Pediatrics and subspecialty residency in Pediatric Infectious Disease, and additional subspecialty training in Pediatric Immunology. Successful candidate must be eligible for licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Alberta (CPSA)Compensation:
