An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and motivated Registered Mental Health Nurse within the Drug and Alcohol recovery Service. You will be based in HADASS (Highland Alcohol and Drug Advice & Support Service) but have opportunities to work across the Drug and Alcohol Recovery Service providing and promoting care within a variety of settings. The post involves delivering harm reduction advice, offering support and advice to people looking to access services as well as offering information and support to the wider population. This post will include leading the delivery and recording of the Highland wide Naloxone programme. Service is under full review in line with the new Strategy.

This post requires you to work as part of the wider multidisciplinary team with support from the HADASS Team and the Team Lead. You should possess excellent communication skills for delivery of service which will include the delivery of Naloxone training to other organisations. Excellent organisational skills and time management are required as well as having a keen interest and positive approach to working within the Drug and Alcohol Recovery Service along with a full driving licence and use of car for work purposes.
