Salary: Remuneration package of up to $101,243 p.a. (+ any other applicable allowances/benefits including RANIP and rural and remote allowances) comprising base salary range of $68,977 - $88,474 p.f. (Nurse Grade 5), recreational leave loading (17.5%), and employer contribution to superannuation (12.75%). Employer provided assistance with accommodation may also be available for this position.

About the Role

  • Support and educate junior staff, students, patients and relatives within the Intensive Care Unit and take in charge role when required.
  • Demonstrate clinical skills and problem-solving skills relevant to the care of level 4 ICU patients.
  • Commit to continuous quality improvement and best practice principles to optimise patient outcomes and organisational outcomes

Requirements:

  • The successful applicant must hold Registration with Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia as a registered nurse and have possession of a current annual practising certificate.
  • Post Graduate Certificate in Intensive Care Nursing, or working towards same will be highly regarded.
  • Previous experience in an acute setting would be highly regarded.
  • Experience looking after ventilated patients is desirable
