About your opportunity 
The role of the Nurse Unit Manager is to facilitate and provide nursing leadership, support, clinical supervision and mentoring within the nursing team and provide nursing resource, education and research accountabilities and strategic management to facilitate the delivery of high quality, best practice care to clients.

This position requires advanced critical thinking and problem-solving attributes that will assist in the application and evaluation of contemporary nursing and midwifery practice and theory.

Generous remuneration package value up to $137,278 p.a. comprising salary range of $110,499 to $119,964 p.a. (Nurse Grade 7), 17.5% leave loading, 12.75 % employer contribution to superannuation. Requirements of the role

  • Mandatory: Bachelor of Nursing or equivalent is a mandatory qualification for this position.
  • Highly Desirable: Possession of a relevant postgraduate qualification in an appropriate field is highly desirable. Such experience may be discipline specific or have a service area focus. 
  • Nursing: Appointment to this position requires proof of qualification and registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) and possession of a current practising certificate. Certified copies of the required information must be provided to the appropriate supervisor/manager prior to commencement of clinical duties.
