NHS Highland - More jobs by this advertiser

We have a full time vacancy within the Inverness Community Mental Health Team based on the New Craigs site for an appropriately qualified Band 5 Occupational Therapist. The team works with older adults experiencing organic and/or functional illness. We are aiming to increase the OT provision within the team, and you will be supervised by a Band 6 OT within the team. There will also be the support of the team leader and via the professional OT leadership structures.

You will be part of a developing service, with a significant emphasis on aspects identified in the Scottish Dementia Strategy and particularly enhancing community provision. We are aiming to increase links between hospital and community and also care homes and the CMHT, hence there will be opportunities to be part of this development.

The core hours of the service are Monday - Friday 9.00am to 5.00pm. There is currently no weekend working though this may be an option for future development of the service.

You will have the support of the team including Consultant Psychiatrist, CPN's OT and Dementia Link Worker, along with supervision via the CMHT Leader
