The client provides fully integrated treatment options for a wide range of conditions which affect the brain, spine and nerves.

The Role

The private practice is seeking an experienced Spinal Orthopaedic Surgeon. The role offers amazing earning potential.

The Benefits

  • Collaborative and extremely busy practice.
  • Surgeons are generally hired as a contractor, although their are 1-2 year employment options for those wishing to be employed by the practice.
  • Current Spinal orthopaedic surgeons take home (clear) approx $1.5 million dollars per annum (after the 40% service fee which is industry standard).
  • The service fee pays for marketing, business development, billing, ICT and state-of-the-art databases etc. (which the practice takes care of so that you don’t need to).
  • The practice is in the process of developing an equity model, as such there are partnership opportunities after 1-2 years.
  • The pain specialists can assist you with your patients, so you can focus on doing what you want to
  • No loss of income when you are on holidays (if you are currently in solo practice) as there are multiple specialists who are able to take over while you are away.
  • The practice collaborates with Melbourne Private Hospital. They have access to the hospitals spinal robot and should you be interested they can assist you with access to this state-of-the-art equipment.
  • The practice has an 80% specialist retention rate long-term.

The Requirements

You must hold the FRACS, current Specialist Registration with AHPRA, and have the relevant clinical experience to apply. The practice will also consider applicants with comparable qualifications and experience from NZ.
