About the role
We are currently searching for experienced registered nurses to join our Acute Medical Unit and General Medical Ward.
Acute Medical Unit
Acute Medical Unit is a 27bed Unit, with Telemetry and NIV capabilities. It is a specifically staffed and equipped area of the hospital designed for the assessment and management of patients with acute and chronic medical conditions. We offer a service that is committed to the delivery of excellent, patient and family centred care, every day, every interaction.
It is an expectation that all staff strive to deliver high quality care, to every patient, at every opportunity. Our unit focuses on continuation of care and optimisation of health and functionality.
Acute Medical Unit provides a patient and family centred environment for the medical patient facilitating timely, appropriate, consistent assessment, investigation and treatment of patients; delivering the right care at the right place at the right time.

General Medical Ward
7B General Medical Ward is a 34 bed Acute Medical Unit with a Respiratory focus. 7B is currently in the process of creating a 4 bed high dependency room for NIV, tracheostomy and ICC patients.
