Alberta Health Services (AHS) invites applicants to apply for a clinical locum position with AHS Child Health (Division of Clinical Genetics) in collaboration with the Department of Medical Genetics at the University of Alberta.
This is a position to provide clinical service in the areas of general genetics, prenatal genetics, and may involve cancer genetics. Clinical teaching of residents would be expected, as it relates to clinical care. The position is available immediately with the term ending January 2021.
Interested applicants must hold an MD and have completed residency in Medical Genetics or related disciplines; he/she should be certified or eligible to become a fellow of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada, or the Canadian College of Medical Genetics. The successful candidate must be eligible for licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Alberta (CPSA).
Remuneration for this position will be commensurate with qualifications and experience and will be based on the income scale of a competitive and highly successful academic alternate funding plan.
