The successful applicant will join an academic medical genetics clinic providing a full spectrum of clinical genetics services. In addition to clinical care, the clinic is active in teaching at the undergraduate and postgraduate levels. The Department of Medical Genetics has an active basic and clinical science program, collaborating locally, nationally and internationally. This position will be comprised of 70-75 % clinical service. Expertise in clinical and prenatal genetics is essential. Additionally, expertise in other areas such as cancer genetics, cardiogenetics, adult genetics, metabolic genetics would be an asset.

Interested applicants must hold an MD and have completed residency in Medical Genetics or related disciplines; he/she should be certified or eligible to become a fellow of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada, or the Canadian College of Medical Genetics. Remuneration for this position will be commensurate with qualifications and experience and will be based on the income scale of a competitive and highly successful academic alternate funding plan.
