About the Role
Provide clinical skills, support and education to patients/clients and nursing staff within the Unit to ensure the provision of best practice and quality patient care.
Lead and deliver person centred nursing care at an advanced level based on the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (NMBA) – Registered Nurse Standards of Practice. The Clinical Nurse (CN) is expected to be able to practice autonomously and provide leadership in clinical decision making for chronic disease management and self-management support. They have the responsibility for providing professional direction and support to clinicians in this speciality practice and to work collaboratively to lead practice changes and clinical innovation.
The role of the Clinical Nurse in this rural setting incorporates all aspects of nursing care whilst demonstrating the following foundational elements of the Central West Professional Practice Model:

The total remuneration value of up to $115,508 p.a., is comprised of: salary between $94,545 - $101,237 p.a., (Nurse Grade 6(1)); employer contribution to superannuation (up to 12.75%); annual leave loading (17.5%); Permanent full-time; Accommodation and Relocation assistance (conditions apply); Applications will remain current for 12 months.
