About the Role

  • Delivers advanced holistic client care including assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation and review using clinical nursing experience and expertise to provide care to individuals admitted to Gannet House

  • Co-ordinate the clinical care and care provision for clients specifically those with complex care needs within Gannet House. Accountable for the delivery of safe clinical practice, professional advice and outcomes of own practice in accordance with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (NMBA) and other national standards.

  • Application of advanced clinical knowledge and skills in coordination or participation in the delivery of direct and indirect clinical care.

  • Demonstrate specialised knowledge, with relevant recent experience, clinical skills and competence in relation to providing hospital avoidance care in the residential care setting.

  • Ability to apply critical thinking and provide clinical leadership, support and direction to nursing staff while promoting professional standards of practice and conduct.
