Blackpool Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is situated on the west coast of Lancashire, and offers a full range of district hospital services and community health services to a population of 1.6 million in Lancashire and South Cumbria.

We run a portfolio of in-house courses that can be accessed by all staff to enhance their professional development needs. This post is an exciting opportunity to join a multi-disciplinary Primary Intermediate Mental Health Service.
The post-holder will mainly work in the Single Point of Access Duty Team, providing telephone triage assessments and signposting. They will work with service users and their families to provide short-term intervention and to identify the most appropriate pathway of care. The post-holder will provide line-management to junior members of staff, promoting mental health services to other providers and pro-actively working towards our Trusts values and objectives.
The post-holder will have a sound working knowledge of the Mental Health Act 1983, The Care Act, relevant documentation and knowledge of Primary and Secondary Care Mental Health Services and Social Care.
