About the Role
Provide clinical skills, support and education to patients/clients and nursing staff within the Unit to ensure the provision of best practice and quality patient care.
Provide advanced clinical direct patient care in an efficient manner within an integrated framework, providing nursing leadership whilst supporting whole of service development.
The Clinical Nurse is required to work across all clinical areas of Longreach Hospital and must be able to apply advanced, comprehensive knowledge and skills in emergency care and acute care whilst providing education and development of staff and portfolio management.
This position supports the Nurse Unit Manager in the provision of leadership and direction to nursing staff and utilises data and information to ensure that the service is organised for safety, and measures are in place to capture the standard of service delivery.
The role of the Clinical Nurse in this rural setting incorporates all aspects of nursing care whilst demonstrating the foundational elements of the Central West Professional Practice Model.
The total remuneration value of up to $115,508 p.a., is comprised of: salary between $95,545 - $101,237 p.a., (Nurse Grade 6 (1)); employer contribution to superannuation (up to 12.75%); annual leave loading (17.5%); Permanent full-time; Applications will remain current for 12 months.
