About the role

The Clinical Nurse is a registered nurse who is accountable for practice at an advanced level. This role supports the delivery of services by ensuring the coordination of digital health solutions, including TrendCare and contributes to the integrity and sustainability of nursing and midwifery services through.

  • the provision of training support in digital health solutions including TrendCare.
  • Plans and delivers focused training sessions to address common areas for improvement and to motivate and empower staff in the utilisation and understanding of TrendCare.
  • Coordinates and collates evidence of data quality for all acuity-rating staff / units (Inter-Rater Reliability testing of all staff and Ward Actualisation Audits).
  • Consults, prepares and delivers on TrendCare System implementation and / or upgrades including training and demonstration of new features to relevant services.
  • Identifies quality improvement opportunities in consultation with stakeholders and supports associated quality activities.

 

About You

The successful candidate will be someone who can demonstrate the following:

  • Demonstrated advanced knowledge and skills in the area of digital health solutions such as TrendCare with expert nursing care while providing support and direction to other team members.
  • Demonstrated ability to coordinate and manage resources including reprioritisation of requirements and operationally day to day changes within a collegiate / team structure.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate to a high standard effectively and engage with members of the healthcare team whilst displaying a high level of professionalism.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of patient flow initiatives and management of complex care patients.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong relationships, open communication and a positive environment within a multidisciplinary team, actively contributing to the learning and development of others to a high standard.
