Applications are invited for these new posts in acute general medicine (including Medical High Dependency Unit). During the first year of appointment you will work across acute general medicine and various speciality medical wards, as well as having involvement in specialist outpatient clinics and procedural clinics. You will have the opportunity to identify an area of specialty interest in one of the following areas - Respiratory, Gastroenterology, Renal, Diabetes, General Medicine. As individuals are appointed to these roles, these areas of specialty interest will be allocated accordingly.
In addition to clinical management we would expect you to develop other roles in the department, such as quality improvement or service development.
Applicants must have full GMC registration with a licence to practice and experience of hospital medicine.
