Nairn Healthcare Group – GP Practice www.nairnhealthcaregroup.co.uk Practice Nurse (Band 6) Full and part time hours considered We are a friendly, busy two site GP surgery currently seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Practice Nurse with a strong emphasis on good teamwork and flexibility to join our dedicated Nursing team. The ideal candidate is an experienced Registered Nurse with excellent clinical skills, competent in all usual treatment room tasks; including ear syringing, wound care, travel immunisations, childhood immunisations, cervical screening and management of chronic disease. He/she will essentially require up to date knowledge and skills in Diabetes, Asthma and COPD management. It would be preferable (but not essential) if you are a nurse prescriber. You will have first level registration with the NMC and will be able to demonstrate relevant post registration experience, with clear evidence of continuous professional development. Experience working within General Practice is advantageous but not essential.
