RIVERSIDE, CROMARTY AND FOYERS MEDICAL PRACTICES NURSE PRACTITIONER Providing a range of General Medical and other services across 3 practices, we are an efficient, innovative, patient-centred organisation. We provide high quality care to our patient lists totalling over 12,000 patients in and around Inverness, Loch Ness East & Strathnairn and Cromarty, from three modern, purpose-built premises. We are looking for a 4th Nurse Practitioner to complement our team of highly motivated individuals and enhance the wide range of services already provided. This is an exciting opportunity to help us to further develop the clinical team, which will provide holistic clinical care to our patients. The successful candidate will be an expert clinical practitioner responsible for providing advanced clinical skills and have experience of working with professional autonomy, utilising high levels of decision making and clinical judgement. The successful applicant will be able to assess undifferentiated presenting complaints, develop a management plan, start treatment and arrange investigations if required. High levels of communication to liaise with secondary care, both acutely and by means of referral through SCI Gateway. Telephone triage forms a key element of the role and increasingly care for palliative patients, patients in care homes.
