The Facility

As part of the state wide health service you will be located in this modern 180 bed facility providing high quality health care to the local region. The hospital also offers services in medical, surgical and allied health specialties through inpatient and outpatient departments.

This facility is Approved for Workplace Based Assessment

The Position

Working in this busy, state of the art public hospital Emergency Department you will enjoy lots of consultant and senior medical officer support so it is great place to learn and develop.

You will have the:

  • Ability to perform duties efficiently and in a professional manner.
  • Well developed skills in communication, negotiation and conciliation.
  • Sound theoretical knowledge, practical skills and ethical behaviour commensurate with the appointment as a responsible member of medical staff.
  • Efficient organisational and time management skills.
  • Mature approach to interpersonal relationships including the ability to direct and supervise members of theatre nursing staff and to liaise with specialists.
  • A personal commitment to high standards of clinical care.
