Your opportunity: The Clinical Nurse Consultant (CNC) is a clinical leader, accountable at an advanced practice level for the coordination of patient centred clinical practice specific to Acute Adult Mental Health Inpatient Unit, and the provision of human and material resources within the Acute Adult Mental Health Inpatient Unit. The CNC demonstrates sound knowledge of contemporary nursing practice and theory and provides clinical leadership, advice and advocacy to a multidisciplinary team and is responsible for the facilitation and provision of quality and cost-effective nursing services which are consistent with contemporary standards, guidelines, relevant legislation and best practice within the Acute Adult Mental Health Inpatient Unit. The CNC utilises data and information to ensure that the service is organised for safety and measures are in place to capture the standard of service delivery.
Prior to being made an offer of employment, you will be required to demonstrate immunity to the following Vaccine Preventable Diseases ( https://tinyurl.com/yc6pgyt2 )(VPD): Hepatitis B, Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella (chicken pox), Pertussis (whooping cough) and Tuberculosis (TB).

You will receive a competitive remuneration package value up to $143,804 p.a., comprising salary between $116,092 - $126,037 p.a., employer contribution to superannuation (12.75%) and annual leave loading (17.5%) (Nurse Grade 7) (Permanent Full Time 76 hours p.f.)
